British Library of Economic and Political Science (BLPES)
The home page of the British Library of Political and Economic Science, which serves as a national collection of material for research as well as being the working library of the London School of Economics (LSE). 
 

COPAC: University Research Library Catalogue
COPAC is a bibliographic catalogue that can be accessed free of charge via the Internet. It provides access to the merged catalogues of some of the largest university research libraries in the UK and Ireland, plus the British Library.

 

Critical Gateway to World Politics, Society and Culture
The Global Site provides access to a wealth of full text materials and documents relating to ´the interdisciplinary challenges for social science in the global era´. These include classic texts, from key authors such as Karl Marx, journal articles, political commentary on current affairs, lists of forthcoming conferences and previously unpublished research papers and articles.

Great Expectations: the Social Sciences in Britain

A 160 page report of the national review of the social sciences published in March 2003 by the Academy of Learned Societies for the Social Sciences. Moving Image Research Registry
This is a searchable database of research projects on cinema, television and other moving image media undertaken within UK universities and colleges. ESDS Qualidata is a specialist service of the ESDS led by the UK Data Archive (UKDA) at the University of Essex. JSTOR

JSTOR is a not-for-profit organization with a dual mission to create and maintain a trusted archive of important scholarly journals, and to provide access to these journals as widely as possible. JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated.
