Joining the Association

Membership of the British Sociological Association is open to anyone and everyone who has a general interest in the study of sociology. Members do not need to be elected, and may join the BSA directly. JOIN ONLINE NOW!

We have approximately 2,600 members of which 700 are postgraduate students based within various UK institutions.

The annual membership period runs from January to December each year.
