How to Join the BSA

Joining the BSA is quick and easy. Members are important to the BSA, which is why we will do our utmost to improve systems to help you join.

The annual membership period runs from January to December each year. Applications received before October 1st will be processed for the current calendar year. Applications received after October 1st will be processed for the following calendar year. New joiners applying for membership after October 1st receive the remainder of the current year FREE including the Winter edition of the Members' Magazine "Network". 

There are currently three ways in which to apply. These are (in order of preference):

Option 1: JOIN ONLINE - payment by credit or debit card only.  Please note: this method gives you immediate access to online membership benefits, including registering at member rates for our events and conferences.

Option 2:  Decide your membership category and download, complete and return (fax or post) the Membership Application Form (pdf).

Option 3: Ring the BSA Office on 0191 383 0839 during office hours (9.00am-5.00pm).  Remember to have your credit/debit card details handy, or alternatively you may request an invoice.  Invoices are particularly useful if you prefer to have your place of work/institution pay your subscription.
