Medical Sociology Online (MSo)
The first issue of this free access publication of the British Sociological Association is now available. MSo (formerly Medical Sociology News, MSN) includes peer reviewed papers and debate in the broad area of medical sociology. Please click on the link to be taken directly to MSo.
Activities
BSA Membership brings benefits in terms of reduced conference fees and journal subscriptions, but most group activities are open to non-members.
The group hosts its annual conference each September, which attracts in the region of 350 delegates, and awards a number of prizes each year.
Other group activities are organised under the auspices of the regional groups, which organise regular meetings in different areas of the UK. The MedSoc Committee is keen to support the establishment of new regional groups in under served areas and any interested parties should contact the Convenors.
