MedSoc South West Regional Group

Background

The recently appointed co-convenors are currently making plans to reactivate the MedSoc Regional Group for the South West Region which has been dormant for a while. For their inaugural event they are planning a one-day conference entitled, "Medical Sociology: what is it and who is it for?" to take place in the late autumn/winter of 2006. The day will include a number of discussion papers from sociologists and other who aim to think sociologically in their practice and a meeting with the aim of planning further events for the year.
