Education Study Group
IntroductionThe Study Group aims to bring together those interested in the sociology of education in order to:
- exchange and develop ideas
- encourage collaboration
- lend support (particularly to research students)
We are interested in all aspects and levels of education and training including compulsory education, pre and post compulsory education, full-time and part-time, and formal and informal.
ActivitiesThe main activities of the group are regular meetings (currently three a year) at which short papers are presented in order to stimulate discussion. However, we aim to be as inclusive as possible so our aims and activities will constantly be evolving in order to reflect the interests and concerns of our members.
