Language and Interaction Study Group

Introduction

During the 1980s the group brought together researchers from a number of disciplines to discuss methodological issues and present work in progress. They hope to continue this by holding a series of seminars about current work in ethnomethodology, conversation analysis, sociolinguistics, and different varieties of discourse analytic and ethnographic research, including computer supported co-operative work.

Activities

We are looking for suggestions if you are interested in holding a seminar or day-conference in association with the Language Group. We will publicise this through the BSA's Newsletter (Network) and on these/our webpages.
