Current Projects

Applied Sociology Curriculum

in April 2018, SoA launched its curriculum in applied sociology. This is aimed at BA Sociology course leaders, and offers a resource for those interested in adding an applied sociology unit/module to their university's undergraduate degree.

The longer-term objective is to establish a body of sociololgy gradates with the skills and knowledge to work as sociologists in applied settings, to address daily issues and problems that arise in organisations, workplaces and communities.

Outreach to new sociology graduates

We are now actively encouraging new sociology graduates to join the Applied Sociology Group, and are hlding events of interest to recent graduates.
