Nick Fox
Nick took severance from the University of Sheffield in 2009, where he had been professor of sociology and director of teaching in the School of Health and Related Research. Since then he has worked as an independent scholar, with recent work on sexualities, creativity, emotions, technologies and health, and books on embodiment (Polity, 2010) and on new materialist social theory for Sage (2017). In addition he directs the Wisdom Centre, a business providing short courses to health care professionals and others. He has been co-convenor of the Group since 2013.
