The Gender and Feminism Study Group aims to:

Provide a forum enabling the development of gender sociology across a full range of gender-related fields
Facilitate a professional network, bringing sociologists of gender together across differences in academic career stage, institutional status, and location
Encourage interdisciplinary and international networking and collaborations
Support gender scholarship and gender scholars, raise and consolidate the profile of the Study Group
