The primary purpose of the Activism in Sociology Forum (ASF) is to aid those inside and outside academia working on social justice projects to connect with one another in order to provide opportunity for collective action. The ASF crosses subject areas, methodologies, and ideologies within the discipline and focuses upon how sociology bridges the gap between Sociology as theory and Sociology as practice.
