Academic Network of Disability Experts
ANED was established by the European Commission in 2008 to provide academic and scientific support and advice for its disability policy Unit. In particular, the activities of the Network will support the future development of the EU Disability Action Plan and practical implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Disabled People in Europe. The Network is managed by Human European Consultancy (NL) and the Centre for Disability Studies at the University of Leeds (UK). 

Connected Sociologies Curriculum Project
This project aims to provide open access resources for students and teachers wishing to think about the sociology curriculum from a perspective that is inclusive of the colonial and imperial histories that constituted the modern world. It is funded by the Sociological Review Foundation.

Equality & Human Rights Commission
The new Commission will be a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) and independent influential champion whose statutory remit is to promote and monitor human rights; and to protect, enforce and promote equality across the nine "protected" grounds - age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.  The Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) and the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) were merged into the new Commission in October 2007.  

Equality Challenge Unit
Equality Challenge Unit supports the higher education sector in its mission to realise the potential of all staff and students whatever their race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age, to the benefit of those individuals, higher education institutions and society. 

Equality & Diversity Forum
The Equality and Diversity Forum is a network of national organisations committed to progress on age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and broader equality and human rights issues.
