This year’s Auto/Biography Winter conference title is ‘Peace’. It takes place on Friday, 11 December 2026 at Friends House, Euston, London, UK.
We are delighted that the keynote will be given by Dr Christine Lewis (Independent Academic).
Call for Papers
We are pleased to announce the call for papers for this year’s Auto/Biography Winter conference entitled ‘Peace’.
We invite your abstract submissions (250 words) for a 30-minute oral presentation followed by 15-minutes of discussion. We welcome papers from across the broadest range of auto/biographical work, including ‘work-in-progress’ and creative approaches. The conferences are a rich, supportive environment for the development of academic work in Auto/Biography for colleagues at all career stages, so please share this call with your colleagues.
Please submit your abstract by Sunday, 4 October 2026 at 23:59 online as we are unable to accept abstracts by email.
The key dates leading up to the conference are as follows:
- Abstract submission deadline: Sunday, 4 October
- Abstract notification and conference registration opens week beginning: Monday, 26 October
- Presenter booking deadline: Monday, 2 November
- Delegate booking deadline: Monday, 9 November
- Conference: Friday, 11 December
