About the Event
Abstract
This presentation reflects on my Macmillan blog documenting community engagement around cancer awareness in ethnically minoritised communities in Plymouth. Using an auto/biographical lens, I explore positionality, voice, representation, culture and ethics, asking how practitioners transform encounters with others into public narratives, and what becomes visible or remains silenced in that process.
